Hammer union
The hammerhead union is designed as a heavy-duty high-pressure streamline joint. They are usually found in chemical plants, marine dredging vessels, open-pit mines and the petroleum industry. The color coding system on the hammer head union represents different configurations and rated pressures (usually the union is also printed with the mark #). The pressure range is 1,000-15,000 psi, depending on size and configuration.
