Drill pipe centralizer (bow spring with 2 waves) installed on 2-7/8” tubing.
One of our customers ordered some centralizers from us. At the beginning, the customer needed the drill pipe centralizer, and later after communicating with the customer, we found that the customer needed a double bow spring centralizer installed on the 2-7/8" tubing pipe and fit in the 7" and 9-5/8 "casings.
The customer originally asked for the hinged type centralizer, but the minimum ID of our hinged type centralizer is 5.5". The inner diameter of 2-7/8" is too small for the hinge type centralizer. Therefore, we recommended our single piece type of centralizer to our customer, and we just have seamless tubes suitable for 2-7/8" size. This slip-on type bow spring centralizer are laser cut from a seamless tube. The required centralizers are double bow spring centralizers (bow spring with 2 waves). The customer also requires fixing screws on the end of the centralizer. We made new mold for this size of centralizer and successfully completed all the goods.
