Polished rod clamps
We have exported clamps for polished rods for many years. The main sizes are for 1-1/4” and 1-1/2” polished rods. We have two types polished rod clamps, with teeth and without teeth. Usually, the clamps we exported are no teeth, because the polished rod clamp without teeth will not damage the polished rods. But the loading capacity is lower than clamps with teeth.
Our single bolt polished rod clamps without teeth could be up to 60KN, but the clamps with teeth could be 120KN. One of our customers required 180KN for the polished rod clamps. Our three bolts’ clamps can meet these requirements.
In order to save costs, our customer wanted us to provide two-bolt polished rod clamps with loading capacity of 180KN. If use our single bolt clamp with teeth, it’s not a problem. But customer needs our clamps without teeth.
In order to meet customer’s requirements, our engineer changed the materials and use the bolts and nuts with higher torque, after heat treatment, we finally meet customer’s requirements for loading capacity. Later our customer placed more big orders to purchase our low cost and high loading polished rod clamps.
